On Saturday, August 17th Riga Motor Museum will greet the annual oldtimer meeting Riga Retro 2019 organized by Antique Automobile Club of Latvia and Riga Motor Museum.
From 9:00 to 11:00 am more than 100 old-timer vehicles of different periods of time, styles and forms will gather at the museum.
At 11:15 am after the display at the museum, the traditional car parade through the streets of Riga will take place. The route of the parade is Riga Motor Museum - Brivibas Street - Kalpaka Boulevard. From 12:00 to 13:00 o’clock cars will be displayed at Kalpaka Boulevard opposite to the Congress House. The event will end at the Rundale Palace with an elegance contest.
A total of 100 ancient vehicles who represent a 100-year history of car and moto construction in Latvia and in the world, will take part in the event. There are always some real oldtimer "pearls" taking part in the event.
